The Duchess Theatre install Origin’s products to overcome building issues

Why Origin?

Due to ventilation issues within the popular theatre, the Theatre Group had decided it was time to create an extension.

They undertook extensive research into which companies’ products to go for, to counter their issues. Having found a builder to complete the job, they were recommended Origin for both the doors and windows as the builder had installed them on previous jobs and he was impressed with the quality and workmanship. With that trust in-mind, the Theatre Group looked into Origin’s products and decided to specify this to their installer.

Product Choice

When the planning department were finalising the details regarding the finishing look, they were after a modern aesthetic without compromising functionality or the amount of natural light entering the building. This led to the team choosing luxury-style OW-80 windows and the OB-72 Bi-fold system, as well as shaped gable windows. The bi-fold door system allowed for the room to incorporate the outside, which made the room feel a lot more spacious as it allowed the overflow to the outside. The Theatre Group opted for the popular Anthracite Grey, RAL 7016M.

As the Theatre Group did not want to be closed for business, the time taken from order to completion was a priority. Knowing that Origin would deliver On Time and In Full, the Theatre Group were able to keep business running as usual and start the preparation work the morning of delivery. As the installer they used was familiar with Origin’s products, and had received installation training directly from Origin, they were able to complete this install within the day; not impacting the daily running of their business.
